Plastic surgery addiction

Too much sugar consumption can turn out bitter. Similarly, when things turn out too good to be true, they arent actually real at all. It is evident that plastic surgery is taking pace and is is getting popular every passing day. There are so many people who sign up for it and take advantage of it. However, some might have taken things too far away. They are the people who are obsessed with surgery and cant get enough of it.

A small surgery to correct one thing; sometimes not that necessary, can ignite the unwanted fire of changing every single thing. It is an addiction to plastic surgery, an obsession with a plastic life. This doesnt mean that cosmetic or plastic surgery is a bad thing. Many times, it helps in building confidence in people who otherwise would feel low and shy. Facial and body injuries that cause deformity can only be corrected by the means of plastic surgery, this ofcourse is a good thing. But there is a flip side to it, if it is misused or say; over used.

Sometimes the wish to be perfect can drive people to the limit of changing what they really are. The case is the same with people taking up plastic surgery. There is no such thing as perfect, and individuals still spend so much money on acheiving it. People have continual plastic surgeries, changing every inch of their body until there is nothing more to do. They are left to be nothing but hard plastic that is fake in every perspective.  It is pure obsession towards surgery that is seen in many nowadays.

The examples of plastic surgery addiction or addicted are plenty. There are so many people evident with this disease or sickness. Many of them are our favourite stars and celebrities. One of the key example is the famous artist late Michael Jackson. Once he was a dark skinned talent, loved by all. Girls went crazy over him but the drive for perfectness changed him to the limit that he wasnt what he really was. He had so many surgeries throughout his life, starting with his nose correction job. At the end of his life, he himself confronted his addiciton to plastic surgery and how he hated the look of himself. There are many such examples around us, who are obsessed with this idea and wont stop at anything.

Plastic surgery is a good thing if properly used, but when things turn out to be an obsession more than a requirement, life can become an ugly nightmare. It isnt just unpleasant to look at for the viewers but equally traumatic; emotionally and physically for the addicts. The outcome may not be visible shortly but in long term, it is always evident to be a horrible mistake.
